4 CUE AND 12 CUE FIRING UNIT INSTRUCTIONS AND USE.
How to de-program and re-program the 4 cue and 12 cue e-fire.
You must de-program the system prior to trying to re-program the module. This system has a fail safe for rectifying that will prevent accidental code storage thereby creating a secure firing environment.
Step 1. Press and hold the red program button. The red LED light above the button will illuminate for about 10 seconds. This light will go out when the code is deleted.
Step 2. Ensure that the transmitter is on and the selector switch is in the “SG” mode. Turn the key on the module to fire. Extend the antenna on the module. Press and release the red program buttonagain. Immediately, press both your desired channel button (A,B,C,D,E, or F) and the all button. (you must push both the channel button and the fire button at the same time…. This serves as a dead man switch) Keep your fingers on the buttons until you see all four firing LEDs light, which indicates the module has locked onto the signal.
Step 3. You can test the module by pressing the programmed channel button (A,B,C,D,E, or F) and any of the firing modes (ALL, SEQ or STEP FIRE)
Firing mode definitions: All fire: Will fire all cues on the selected channel at once.
Sqe (sequence fire): Will fire all cues in sequence from cue 1 to cue 4 about with a one second delay between cues.
Step fire: Every time you push the channel button and step button a cue will fire from cue 1 to cue 4. Continue this De-programming / Re-programming for every module you have in “SG” mode. You can program one channel to every module or multiple modules (an infinite number) to one channel if you want simultaneous firing on that channel. If you want a single module per channel then you can have 6 modules per hand held transmitter for a total of 24 discrete cues.
Things to remember:
Our 4 cue firing units are the most versatile and easy to use units that can be spread out and used all over a field instead of using long wires and leads. You can use up to 6 units on 1 controller (24 cues) and one controller so it could easily be spread out with total 24 cues. You can start out with one and expand it later on if you like. One controller will fire all 6 units 2 remotes will control 12 units etc etc. Once units are programmed using the programming instructions, batteries are put in the units and turned on and turned to fire you will see how they work. Make sure controller is turned on and antenna is up also. For instance if you were to use three units at once you hold the A button while pushing ALL, SEQUENCE or STEP you will see that if you hold the A button then press the ALL button all channels will fire at once on the A unit. If you hold the A button and press the SEQ button it will fire 1, 2 3 and 4 in sequence. If you hold the A button and press STEP button it will only fire each channel in sequence as you continue to hold the A button and push the STEP button. You can for instance Hold the A button and press sequence once and fire only the first channel on the A receiver then hold the C button and push ALL button and fire off all the channels on C then go back to A and hold the A button and press STEP button again to fire channel two than go to Receiver B and also step through each and every channel and move back and forth between receivers in any fashion you chose.
